Obama says 'lace 'em up' for service
I was at the All-Star game tonight where Barack Obama sent a message to the fans in attendance advocating service for our country. I found John McCain's reaction from the front row much more interesting than the message because it seemed as though he was trying to put on a good face without really caring about what was being said. He and his wife were talking to Eva Longoria during the message and were smiling the whole time. Knowing that there is some animosity growing between McCain and Obama, I was fascinated by McCain's surprisingly respectful attitude towards the taped message. It was funny that once McCain was announced there was a mixture of cheers and boos, but when Obama was announced it was all cheers. That just goes to show not many people from the game were actually from the state of Arizona where McCain wears the Crown.
