"The Obama Effect"

I've been offline for the past week, so hopefully no one posted this already!

Apparently after Obama was nominated and again after he was sworn in, the GRE scores of African-Americans who had been aware of his nomination/inauguration went way up instead of the usual stereotype threat. My interest is in educational policy, so I found this really intriguing.
