My Time at the NBA Rookie Game
Having just arrived off of a plane, I headed to the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix for the NBA All-Star game festivities. For some reason once I entered the arena I was seated in the same section as many NBA greats of old. Sitting right next to me was Portland Trailblazer Head Coach Nate McMillian who was in town to watch his son play at ASU. I thought this was really exciting because he even offered to give me his autograph. In terms of the game, I was amazed by Kevin Durant, even though it was mostly an offensive show. He set the record for scoring in the game with 46 and he led a tremendous comeback for the sophomore team.
