Like Obama, Iran's president talks of improving ties
Just hours after President Obama told reporters that his administration "will be looking for openings" with Iran that "will allow us to move our policy" in a new direction, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad replied "It's clear that the Iranian nation will welcome genuine changes". He said he would be willing to cooperate with the Us on area of mutual interest, however the cooperative talks must take place in a "fair atmosphere in which there is mutual respect." Ahmadinejad also referred to Iran as a superpower.
