A-Fraud
American's national pasttime is no longer so great. Joe Torre's relevation of the Yankees nickname for A-Rod appears to be relevant now. Although, steroid use was not illegal when Alex Rodriguez tested positive in 2003, how can we trust that all of records broken in the steroid era were legitimate. I really thought A-Rod was going to be the one we could trust as he is probably going to break the home run record. Even though I appreciate seeing the records being broken and the home runs being hit, I think A-Rod and Barry Bonds would have been great regardless and gotten into the Hall of Fame. It just goes to show that Bud Selig did a terrible job of policing the sport caring more about getting fans in the stands the health of his players and the sport.
