E.P.A. Expected to Regulate Carbon Dioxide
With a new administrator at the EPA, it appears as though climate policy will shift significantly in the next few months. While some will argue against regulating emissions, I personally believe that doing so will prove beneficial in multiple ways. First, reducing pollution, irregardless of its effect on global warming, will help the environment significantly. Second, if regulations are passed, companies are going to need to modify their plants and factories. Over the past few months we've heard that the future of our economy is green. These modifications will require massive production of equipment, and massive training of individuals to implement these policies. Not only will thousands of jobs be created, but our economy will be preparing itself for the future.
