Alaska: Palin owes taxes on per diem expenses

Tax problems continue to plague politicians. This time it appears a Republican is at fault for failing to pay money received from the government to cover costs for food and incidentals on the way back home. Governor Palin seems to be coming up in the news lately for all of the wrong reasons and this will continue to plague her if she is unable to regain some of the traction she gained during the campaign.
