Rewards for Students Under a Microscope

This article tackles with the issue of paying students for good performance in school. Economists are in full support of the idea (and indeed in many cities students can get paid for taking an AP exam - and doing well - or getting good grades) while others feel that paying students will ultimately ruin the joy of learning. Most of the money for these payoffs is coming from several foundations, SunTrust Bank, and Harvard.
