No, my libertarian streak only applies to things that don't negatively effect other people and society. Sorry, Megan, if someone doesn't have insurance it puts a burden on the rest of the system, making things more expensive for everybody. Also, I don't understand this complaint when most people included in the GOP constituency (old people, white people, upper-middle class, upper class) already have health insurance.
Some personal decisions are personal and not for big government to make for you by threat of punishment.
