Interesting. I learned from one of our more seasoned lobbyists here that no one knows where and who will be in a conference committee until the morning of, or late on the night prior. It will be interesting to see how healthcare lobbyists and the Obama administration approach this conference committee, considering its significance will probably make planning more secretive? I wonder if Obama (as a member of the Democratic party, and someone who works in close congress with DEM leaders in Congress) would be privy to that information and thus have an advantage in last minute lobbying?
