UBS Decides to Pay Their Taxes
UBS bank agreed to pay $780 in order to settle the score with the US government for aiding thousands of it's clients in evading taxes. The world's largest private bank openly admitted to it's wrongdoing as part of the deal, and largely was able to strike such a deal because of the current economic conditions. It is estimated that in around a five year period the bank helped its clients conceal $20 billion.
