more difficult than he thought

As we discussed yesterday in class, Obama is quickly realizing that accomplishing his proposed legislative agenda will be more difficult than he thought. He has succeeded with the Stimulus, but now faces a Congress as divided and more hesitant to spend money than ever. After an 800+ billion dollar stimulus package, getting his expensive health care and environmental agendas passed will be a struggle, to say the least.
