Gregg plans to attend Obama reunion

With the recent developments that led Senator Gregg to withdraw from a position in Obama's cabinet, it is interesting that he will go back to speak with President Obama next week to discuss the economic future of America. Isn't this what caused him to withdraw in the first place? I understand that he wants to ensure that legislation and measures are being taken forth in the right manner, but at this point his views are not going to change Obama's mind. If his opinion mattered much to President Obama, there would not have been the need to step down. I guess Gregg thinks it might not be worth another try to appear bipartisan and work toward a solution to our economic crisis.
